Leave it to the Germans to come up with such a senseless form of entertainment as "chess boxing". So what's chess boxing?
Just like the name suggests, chess boxing is a sport which combines chess with boxing . . . meaning the athletes alternate three-minute rounds of boxing with four-minute rounds of chess.
